Calculating Trafficking of Myanmar ladies for Forced Marriage and Childbearing in Asia

Tens and thousands of ladies and girls are now being trafficked from Myanmar to China and obligated to marry and keep kiddies, in accordance with research that is new by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg class of Public health insurance and the Kachin ladies’ Association Thailand (KWAT).

Over 7,400 females and girls had been believed become victims of forced wedding in four districts (Kachin State and Northern Shan State) in Myanmar and something Chinese prefecture in Yunnan Province across the edge, with more than 5,000 females obligated to keep kids due to their Chinese husbands.
